Cleo provides clinical consultation and/or supervision for Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapists and Qualifying Registered Psychotherapists. She offers both small group and individual consultation/supervision sessions. She completed a 30 hour course and holds a certificate in Clinical Supervision which meets the requirements of the CRPO.
Cleo practices from an integrative approach with a focus on attachment based psychotherapies and process experiential therapy including emotion focused therapy (EFT), emotion focused mindfulness therapy (EFMT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and interpersonal therapy (IPT). She has trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and incorporates schema work into her treatment with clients. She works from a trauma informed and anti-oppressive framework.
Cleo has 15 years of clinical social work experience and supervised Masters level social work students. For many years she taught a psychotherapy course to University of Toronto Family Medicine Residents focusing on CBT, IPT and achieving psychotherapy effectiveness through use of common factors in psychotherapy.
